Students Undertake Scone Making Masterclass
Nottingham English School students recently undertook a masterclass in scone making at one of New College Nottingham's training kitchens. The students learnt how to bake the perfect scone which forms part of the quintessentially English cream tea of scones, jam and cream. The students learnt how to mix and bake the dough before finally piping with cream and jam.
Hiro Aki Kodaira, a student representative from Japan said: "This was great fun for the students, they all discovered how to bake a traditional English scone, when the students return to Japan I'm sure they will enjoy cream teas with their families"
