CELTA Training Courses

Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) is a qualification that gives teachers the training they need to be successful language teachers and opens the door to exciting teaching opportunities in the UK and all over the world.
First introduced in 1978, this qualification has been known as CELTA since 1998 and is taken by over 10,000 trainee teachers every year. This highly regarded course is accepted by thousands of language schools, universities and teaching organisations around the world.
Because CELTA places equal emphasis on both principles of language teaching and practical teaching, it shows employers that a teacher has successfully completed a challenging programme of training, exploring not only the theory of teaching but also gaining valuable experience of teaching real classes.
CELTA is accredited by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) at Level 5 on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
